Why Reiki?

For centuries, Reiki has been practiced aiding in healing virtually every known illness and injury, including serious problems like multiple sclerosis, heart disease, cancer, skin ailments, broken bones, migraines, headaches, colds, flu, sore throat, sunburn, fatigue, insomnia, impotence, depression, anxiety, poor memory, self-esteem, and much more.

Reiki is a Japanese practice to heal physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.  Reiki can help promote not only pain relief and emotional freedom but can also assist one to regain peace and harmony with his or her body, mind, and spirit.  To learn more of the history visit www.reiki.com.

Reiki is both powerful and gentle.

What should I expect during a session?

Reiki is a gentle and soothing hands-on energy technique that is used for stress reduction and relaxation and promotes health.

A session begins with deep breathing, bringing yourself into the present moment. I will perform Reiki working both with hands on the body following the chakras that flow through your body.  Each of these chakras (crown (top of the head), third eye (in between the eyebrows), throat, heart, solar plexus (right at the base of where your ribs connect), sacral (middle stomach), and root (at the base of the bottom).  Throughout the treatment, a series of hand positions work to release energy blockages (including pain areas, stagnant energy, disease, etc.).  The treatment works to restore balance through tension release, pain release, and healing relaxation.

Please note: Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions, prescribe or perform medical treatments, prescribe substances, or interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional.  Results from Reiki Sessions vary and cannot be predicted.  Staying open and present are recommended for best results, which only the individual experiences.
